May 1-5, 2022 In Person Conference – Scintigraphics will be exhibiting at 2022 RDD In Person Conference

Respiratory Drug Delivery (RDD®) 2022 will be in-person at the Omni Orlando ChampionsGate, Orlando, Florida, from May 1-5, 2022. Because the COVID-19 pandemic has proven unpredictable, in the event that an in-person conference becomes impractical for any reason we will revert to virtual. Updates will be posted here. In case you are not ready, willing, or able to travel to the United States yet, we have made provision for online participation in the many events that have made RDD the must-attend, quality international conference concerning all aspects of pulmonary and nasal drug delivery. In-depth presentations and discussion of pioneering science in tandem with expanded opportunities for networking will appeal to scientists, regulators, clinicians, solutions providers, and business professionals active in this exciting field.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, drug delivery to the nose and lungs has never been in a brighter spotlight, and never has it been more important for companies and researchers to share that attention after two years of virtual conferences. RDD 2022 will combine best-practices gleaned from life online with the irreplaceable value of face-to-face interactions to bring the respiratory world together. Here’s how:

Knowledge Spaces will organize scientific content by theme so that related expert presentations, posters and company exhibits are together online, and easy to associate in the physical space in Florida.
All delegates will be able to view presentations, posters and exhibits but on-demand access to some content may not be available until several days after the live event. Electronic access to published conference articles will be available from April 25, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

RDD 2022 will afford conference sponsors maximum visibility and companies will benefit from an expanded virtual presence when they commit to running an in-person exhibit table.

IPAC-RSRespiratory Drug Delivery and the International Pharmaceutical Aerosol Consortium on Regulation and Science (IPAC-RS) will again collaborate to develop a jointly organized session on Thursday May 5 that will address Regulatory, Science and Technology Innovations Enabling Novel and Improved OINDP Design, Development and Manufacturing. The podium presentations will be supplemented with subsequent in-depth roundtables (delivered online after RDD 2022).

RDD 2022 will include:
  • Knowledge Spaces making information tailored to your areas of interest easy to find
  • Prominent researchers and key opinion leaders from diverse backgrounds providing actionable insights relevant to science, regulation, business and clinical practice
  • Explore with Experts discussion sessions

Making In-person Participation Safe at RDD

We’re excited to be returning to an in-person conference and are working on a great program to welcome everybody back. Your health is paramount to the conference organizers and the Omni hotel, so to minimize the chance of Covid-19 transmission while ensuring engagement between delegates several safeguards will be in place.

Our protective measures are based on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and local and/or federal mandates. Because these evolve, so will our precautions:

  • All delegates must be registered by April 25, 2022. Onsite registration will not be available.
  • We expect that all in-person delegates will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • The auditorium, poster and exhibition space, and networking events will be designed to accommodate generous social distancing and we will encourage attendees to maintain reasonable separation wherever possible.
  • We recommend that all attendees wear masks whenever not eating or drinking. We respect medical exemptions and ask that you respect the masking choices of delegates that are different from your own.
  • You will be asked to confirm your willingness to follow these protective measures during conference registration.
